Specwise it seems pretty identical to the GW2470HM (except for low blue light mode+ or something like that). Made me think it was meant to replace the latter, making me hope for an updated panel. -

Without seeing what you mean, it's difficult to advise. If you mean a semi-glossy coating, the Philips 246E7QDSW (246E7QDAB for the black version with integrated speakers) might be what you're looking for... If you're OK with that kind of coating, this monitor is probably one of the best... -

Those numbers are correct. So my struggle is indeed pixel density vs screen size. I'd love more ppi, but a larger screen might be more enjoyable for movies. On the other hand, I wonder if motion blur/ghosting/uniformity issues are less noticeable or even less prevalent in smaller displays... -

Glad for this thread. Some good information here. That iiyama ProLite X2474HS-B1 is seriously infuriating... Currently looking to replace my very very old Samsung Syncmaster 701N. 17" 1280x1024 TN monitor. I don't sit very far from the screen, no more than 2 feet, so a 22" VA FHD monitor would...
