Waaaaiiitaminute! You're talking about using the adapter to connect the Cintiq to the display port as a 3rd monitor, right? If that's the case I'd ask you what I just asked chit. Being that the 580 only supports 2 monitors at a time, how would I do the switch when needed?

Yeah, I was thinking of that as well. I could pick up a cheap ($50) Nvidia GS 520. It runs on the same driver as the GTX 580 so shouldn't be an issue. And the monitor I'd be driving with is is the Cintiq, so I don't see a problem there either, unless the low resolution of the Cintiq would drag...
