Wanting to get a glossy 120hz monitor for gaming don't really care about 3d so plan to get this monitor and sell the nvidia vision kit on ebay (in my country they only sell bundled). I know nvidia vision requires an nvidia card but would the 120hz 2d gaming be fine with an AMD card?
Would that display port connect fine to a AMD 6990 "mini display port"? Was thinking I would have to buy an nvidia card for the 3d vision but now this is looking better I assume AMD cards would run fine on Samsungs 3d
The S27A750 monitor is designed with a TN panel and features Samsungs Ultra Clear Panel technology, which combines a glossy display that maintains ease of viewing through an anti-glare matte finish.
SA750 doesn't have a DVI port but has a displayport which is capable of 120hz natively, also has HDMI. SA950 series has DVI, displayport and HDMI.

Trying to decide between these GTX 580's. Buying new comp for gaming mainly Battlefield 3, Dota 2, Guild wars 2. Hoping a GTX580 can run BF3 on highest settings 1920 x 1080 on an alienware 120hz monitor? Not interested in AMD cards. Don't care about noise... Won't be adding another one for SLI...
Thanks for reply, with the glossy screen would this make watching movies any better? Ive read that glossy can get glare alot easier and scratches show more easily.
Probably not going to use the 3d feature at all, just after the 120hz for fps. Leaning towards the Alienware OptX AW2310 because its a bit cheaper where i live and ive read that the colors are better than some. Other options are BenQ XL2410T, LG E2370V, Acer GD245HQ, ASUS VG236H, LG W2363D...
