theres no guarentee that there is any difference specification-wise between the A and S panels. Samsung may have manufactured a batch of panels themselves just to hold themselves over until their subcontractor got the samsung designed but non-samsung built panels to market.
I just exchanged my first 226BW for another 226BW due to a dead pixel, and also because i wanted to see if the 2nd exibited the same brightness irregularity from top to bottom that my first showed.
it does. it changes with the viewing angle...so it seems that the viewing angle on this...
yea, the colors do look like crap on the 226bw compared to a 2005fpw out of the box. i came up with some pretty good settings that fixed it. if i remember, i'll post what i used to tweak the color tonight.
has anyone noticed how unless you're sitting far away from the monitor, the colors don't look uniform? i think it has to do with the viewing angle of the monitor.
if anyone has any tips on how to do away with this, please let me know...otherwise 22" is great :D
