The 1680x1050 has to be set up as a custom resolution. Good news is you can do that with Nvidia cards as follows: Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>7900 tab>Screen Resolutions and Refresh Rates>Add button>(enter 1680 1250 32bit 60 hz) Done It is normal for Acers to sometimes show... -

Wait! It depends what you play. You might be CPU limited if fps is only just acceptable at 1280x1024. The 6600GT isnt a bad card. Some games are very demanding on CPU (and even RAM) I have a 6800nu (128Mb RAM) and it works great with IL2FB/Pacific Fighters in 1680x1050. It also works great...
