    all u need to plug in is teh SATA red ribbon and the SATA power, the molex connecter is not needed hope it helped

    hard drive issue

    i had an old 8gb hdd that would sometimes do that to me on boot up, it happened after it got struck by lightning, i never managed to fix it tho, my friend had that problem with his and he used a 3rd party partitioning program on it, idk if it worked. hope that helps
