Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
PETG Tubing would of been ideal choice for a very important reason that fittings for it can be twice smaller and thus much less bulky. Its a bit late since you have all the fittings but maybe my setup will spark your imagination. Its much cleaner after all.
Just a few pictures, I had rebuild my M1 at least 4 times from ground up until I got what I wanted. This is its pre last stage, final stage I haven't taken pictures yet.
Its very likely due to age because I bought them with my EVGA SR-2 and dual X5690s back in the day and its been about 4-5 years. I do appreciate your link to DazMode comparison, made me quite a bit sad but I haven't finished the build yet so we will see maybe performance will increase since I...
I am building for a friend of mine and discovered something interesting, wanted to share with people especially considering how easy the mod is. Requires no mounting plates, special screws or mounting kits. Most is already useful from X61.
Delid the CPU, vice with block of maple wood and hammer...
The EK are much better in terms of noise and make absolutely no motor noise unlike my previous GT AP-13. Packaging is bland and sleeving is low quality yet for the money they cost its much to be expected. The ones in pictures are already sleeved. They are the most exciting fans yet.
To be honest I am sure most people as I am also are interested in the version that can accommodate full size parts. I would want to buy the case because its one of very few vertical cases and has a side window which would make a good show case if built with contrasting parts.
I will make a build log in a about few weeks, Will have Acrylic tubing too (hopefully) I will be becoming a father in less than a month so I am quite pre-occupied
Thermal pads are the only way to avoid any inferference with audio card
I will report about temperatures tomorrow
Fujipoly Premium Thermal Pad 2.5mm Thermal Conductivity 6.0 WmK - is used on top and 1mm Gray thermal pad on the other side of the SSD Board
I will post some more pictures...
Boots up and works perfectly, running Windows 8.1 with no problems or preparation/drivers. The only issue is that it gets very very hot during large file copy, using thermal pads and outer shell of M.2/WiFi combo card worked very well
The video card with EKWB Waterblock fits just right but fittings should be smaller like Bitspower because the Koolance are huge really huge I was shocked when I got them in mail. There are about a 1/4 Inch clearance between the card and the Reservoir Pump Combo with Heatsink.
I had Impact VI...
