    Nvidia GTX 660 Ti Detailed

Add me to the +1s as well. My i7 920 started with a GTX 260, then I upgraded to a 460 about a year ago. Definitely looking for a little more oomph for The Secret World.

American Airlines Replacing Paper Maps with iPads

Adding to this, I work with a number of civilian pilots, mainly doctors who have their own planes and do a lot of flying for work. To a man, they've either converted or are in the process of converting to iPads with aviation-quality GPSes.

    Mine is the HX3X12G1600C9. It's 6 2GB sticks of the same DDR3 1600 CAS 9 RAM you've got.

That's the 3x2 version of the RAM I'm using (got the 6x2 set) and I've had no problems.

You should definitely update to at least the F3 BIOS, since that one seems to help out with the memory issues some folks are having.

It's constant, and immediately comes back if I switch back to High Performance power mode. There's a lot of stuff about it online, the consensus seems to be that certain types of power supplies (Corsair, Seasonic) cause it. EDIT: To answer the inevitable follow-up, I see no performance issues...

I've definitely got the coil whine, fixed it by switching my power settings in Win7 to "Balanced" instead of "High Performance".

Just a note, don't be an idiot like me and forget to install the native SATA drivers. Was getting these little hangs during periods of high disk activity, started investigating, and found out I'd never gotten around to installing the Intel SATA drivers. Was still using the Microsoft default...

Initial results: Success! 12GB of Corsair DDR3 1600 (HX3X12G1600C9 G), board POSTed first time with RAM clocked at 1066. Went into BIOS and selected Profile 1, RAM speeds popped up to 1600 no problems. BIOS is fairly stock otherwise. Memtest is running now and so far shows no signs of...

I have high hopes for the Corsair RAM I got. Just put together a slightly less-beefy rig for a friend with the Gigabyte P55A-UD3 using the exact same RAM (also not on the QVL for that board), and it works spectacularly.
