Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
As long as it's not possible to run the latest games at 1920x1080 @ 120FPS with all details maxed out and some AA thrown in, I don't see how it can be considered "fast enough". If it's about office PCs mainly, then yes, these have been fast enough for a while now.
I was thinking that maybe they did indeed tune down PC graphics because of the new consoles. Not because they were paid off by Microsoft or Sony, but because they feared the backlash of console gamers if they saw that the PC version looks that much better while being told at the same time these...
I'm German. If you want to take a look at how censored games look here, check this out:

It's in German, but you should be able to find your way around it. FYI that site isn't even legal here, see...
You wish... actually, I wish ;)
On a more serious note, I don't think we're ever going to see this, let alone use it on a regular basis. Remember the 4 layer Bluray? Remember the sticky tape data storage thingie? The data crystal that was about to become a reality? All promising new...
Are you referring to this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdlSY4youIQ
The screen in it looked rather glossy, especially at 0:55 to 1:00. My biggest concern with that however is something else. Around 3:05, when he says 'one of the first things you'll notice is the contrast ratio'. Well...
In Germany we have the "Fernabsatzgesetz". It allows consumers to return goods purchased via the internet within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, no questions asked, as long as the goods are still in mint condition and nothing is missing from the package.
This law was made so people...
Don't get your hopes up for this screen. mospider, a user in the German forum hardwareluxx.de posted a picture of a ZR2440 next to the U2713:
Beautiful, isn't it? (Pun intended.)
It might be this screen is just off, but from what I've seen the last couple of months pictures taken by...
Spartacus Season 1 Episode 4, although restricted to people of 18 years and older is still 94 seconds short
Lord of the Rings Extended Edition on Bluray, 1st part has a fucked up picture and fucked up dubbing
Source Code - fucked up picture
Gladiator on Bluray - fucked up picture

With VSync enabled I have never seen it jump between 15, 20, 30, 60, 85, 98 FPS (matching the refresh rates I've been running my screens with) either during the last 15 or so years, and that counts for both, AMD / Ati and Nvidia. So I really wonder what's going on. Have all my systems, hardware...
I'm using 24" non-TN screens and will continue doing so. I've had an BenQ G2400W and hated it every second I had to look at it. Colors weren't pad per se, it was the noticeable color shifting that drove me to screens that make use of IPS panels.
If I upgrade to anything bigger than 24", I...
