yeah true i have been reading about 30" ones and there really are no all around.
i might go with Refurb U2713HM for $417.90 for the price since next year...4k/ oled stuff is coming out....and get a new video card for BF4

Hi everyone. I am waiting to get a cintiq 21ux when it is not on backorder and i will be using it for digital drawing and 3d modeling. As a monitor it is an IPS but not so good for the $2000... but i need it for art.
Currently i have a sumsung F2380 which i got for $160 and it is amazing for...
Im going to use it as a 3rd monitor actually. i have a 21" cintiq (im an artist) and for now a samsung f2370. I want the tv so i can see what im doing just bigger since i do a lot of 3D stuff i need to see the bigger picture. But primarily want to use it to watch netflix/hulu and blu ray movies...
if i get a 2560x1600 display then i will need to spend an extra $600 on a video card.... so i still think it would be better for me to pick a 1080p tv. But i just dont know if they will work good with pc.
I didnt see anything about this so i wanted to ask. I am looking for a great quality hdtv from 36-42" to use as a 2nd monitor. Since i hate horrible black levels on a monitor i want a local dimming or precision dimming one...dont know what the difference is. Price....less then $1000.

I have been looking to get a monitor for a while now.
Either a 24" @ 1920x1200 or a 27", prefereble IPS because i do a lot of photoshop and 3d work. I was looking and i couldnt find any old or new monitors coming out that have 3000:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks.
So should i wait or...

the X-rite i1Display2 seems like a nice choice but its almost 2x the price of Spyder 3 Express...so ill probably go with the Spyder 3 Express. Thank you everybody ;)
