Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

Got in today. SUPER FAST SHIPPING. Left Korea on Monday and arrived today. I've had horrible experience with DHL in the past. Was very pleasantly surprised. No dead pixels and barely any blacklight bleeding at all. Pulling up the forum posts about how people have configured it. Won't...

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

I checked on a search off Google. Your 7950 supports DVI-D, long as you have the DVI-D cable. I'll show pictures and give my take on the monitor when it arrives. Its DHL, so I doubt they make their time frame by Friday like it says. ='(

Which monitor are you referring to? I might be wrong, but I think your card can support both dvi-i and dvi-d. Also, I'm leaning towards using this stand. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082808&p_id=5401&seq=1&format=4#feedback

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

Placed an order from eBay seller green-sum QNIX QX2710 LED EvolutionⅡ 27" Matte version. They I will post pictures when I get it and give my impressions switching from the 2209WA monitors. I'm keeping the one I didn't sell to put in portrait mode next to this one. (or if I build a...

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

I really appreciate the feedback. I'm looking at accessorieswhole off eBay. They seem to have pretty good ratings and free shipping. If not, this other seller on Amazon out of CA, seems to have good feedback as well. Guess I need to research into the Squaretrade warranty's, as I'm sure...

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

I guess I'll consider eBay then. J, do you recommend the Matte or Glossy. I guess the Matte is just a light gloss. I've never been a big fan of Glossy, my room is dark with my curtains. So I guess it wouldn't be a huge issue. EDIT: Also, is it worth the extra money to get one of the Pixel...

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

The Overlord Tempest X270OC_AG is looking the most promising to me currently. Grh, they have no PayPal support though lol. Need to transfer some money over to my bank account then... >=| lol. Gives me some time I guess to do some more research to see if this is what I want. I've heard too...

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

Thanks J. I'll look into the Qnix QX2710. I'm reading the ASUS PB278Q has low input lag for a 1440p as well. I'm seeing conflicting information here on [H]. Some people say two GTX 680s will lag in 1440p and some say they're perfectly fine.

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

Thanks for the responses ! I've looked at the Dell u2913wm, can't make my mind up on it. Just afraid how the native res would be with gaming. I have not looked at the Overlord 27"s, I will look into them thanks. I've been reading a bunch of mixed information out there on 1440p, so wasn't...

Upgrading from Dell 2209WA 22" monitors. (previously in tri setup)

Hey everybody I was previously running three Dell 2209WA Monitors in a Tri setup. I no longer enjoy this kind of setup any longer. I found myself using 1 display for gaming instead of the three. I'm not a huge FPS player any longer and it seems that kind of setup really only benefits FPS...

    Flickering Monitor on Display Port

Does your card have 1 or 2 display ports on it? If so, have you tried both ports out?

There any point in upgrading my crossfire 4890s?

Also, its no different then people the hot rod their cars out. Or spends tons of money fixing up their house. Its called a hobby, we're all entitled to like what we want. I find its dumb that a woman would own 50+ shoes. But who am I to judge, when I blow my money on what I want/makes me...

There any point in upgrading my crossfire 4890s?

To what appears your real question is. Why are people upgrading cause YOU feel there are no games worth playing out there. If you look inside your own question, you'd realize there is no answer. Its all based off opinions. It seems to me, your just not enjoying gaming like you used too...

    Flickering Monitor on Display Port

I've seen people post saying they tried a different display port adapter and had some success. No idea if they had continued longevity success though. I've had the issue with my 6970, but it never seemed to happen enough for me to care. What's weird though, it was not the monitor on the...
