Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Never mind, I mistakenly read your post as if it was a about a setup that wasn't able to produce >=60 FPS in games.
However, since I actually hardly use VSync cause of the latency, I will certainly look into the modern methods of reducing/eliminating latency. Thanks!

Update: this seller has more LK7112 HDMI -> VGA converters in stock. I just bought one on his Ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/386165395345), but you can contact him on Reddit too: https://www.reddit.com/user/MissionTroll404/
Derupter's list with all researched adapters
Just read here about the Nvidia dithering registry tweak. Are people using this link for that: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1082681/geforce-drivers/is-it-possible-to-quot-port-quot-dithering-from-nvidia-x-server-to-geforce-driver-/post/5934577/#5934577 ?
Today my FW900 made weird...
Sounds like your DisplayPort connection is running only in HBR transmission mode, instead of HBR2 which you need for pixel clocks >175 Mhz: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort#Main_link
When I had this problem, it was due to a bad GPU <-> DP-adapter connection. Try replugging and...
Is anyone interested in a free copy of Doom 2016 for Steam? I have one key left and this awesome game plays brilliantly on the FW900 because of it's dark setting. On top of that the engine is greatly optimized for PC and uses the Vulkan API.
Hahahaha, wish I was there too. I planned to take my FW900 to the next lanparty, the reactions and disbelief must be great.
PM me if you want me to ship a Delock adapter for you to somewhere, won't charge extra, can pay me afterwards. Although unless for research and modding yourself I strongly...
"In comparison, the DP plug of the Delock adapter is loose, has no lock, probably the worst possible DP connector one can come up with."
So that says it all. I can return mine and get it replaced for probably the same experience, or find a quality DP1.2 cable and do your fix :). What is the new...
I tried all ways and playing with the cable and I have another situation now: all resolutions up to ~240MHz pixelclock are stable, 1920x1200@73Hz for instance. Everything higher doesn't output anything on the FW900 though the FW900's LED turns green. Can it be it's only functioning with one HBR2...
And now it's as worse as it was before, pff. Thoroughly cleaning the port and plug didn't help, neither did making more room for the Displayport plug. I really hope the Delock engineer took some EMC lessons and it's up to bad GPU Displayport implementation. My quality opinion about the Delock...
:D:D Was planning to clean the GPU's DP-port with IPA cleaning fluid today and it works much better now!! At the same time I used a bit more force to connect the DP connector and it feels physically more tightened. The first 5 minutes the image was perfectly stable and now it starts rolling...
Welcome by the way, all the information in this thread is of great help. I'm running two FW900s for games mostly, one was having focus losing problems, but lately it's not coming back. spacediver's WPB guide looks super, now since I bought that DTP-94 colorimeter I hope to calibrate them soon :)...
