Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm kinda with you since I'm on 144Hz/120Hz displays. But I bet I'd get used to 4K/240Hz and would then want it all the time. I thought 60Hz was fine until I got used to 120Hz and could tell the difference.
let them reeeee. I want to run HDR and clone my display for capturing. I can tonemap to SDR for streaming in OBS if I don't want my audience to also reeee.
Content creators in the gaming space have had a large issue with HDR since its use has become commonplace in gaming. If they clone their display output to their HDMI output for a capture card in a secondary streaming PC, they are not able to use HDR at all. That's right: Windows display cloning...
I did an absolute ton of DisplayPort swapping, to no avail. The Windows install was relatively fresh (within 3 months) but was brought over from a X570 Dark Hero motherboard with a 5950X CPU that was giving constant BSOD crashes. A replacement Dark Hero and 5950X CPU that was an effort to fix...
BIOS is the latest.
System was upgraded from a ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero with a Ryzen 5950X that had Resizable Bar enabled. New system is a ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming board with a Ryzen 7950X3D.
ReBAR firmware update had already been done, firmware update tool confirms that.
I'm thinking...
Both monitors are used for gaming in different scenarios. One being a 4K lower refresh rate the other being a 1080p one at a blistering refresh rate. Each one can work with the GPU on its own. But never simultaneously. The iGPU in the CPU that you speak of is disabled in BIOS. GPU-Z says the...
Yeah it's quite clear, especially with AMD applying the 7950X3D-style core parking to focus gaming loads on the better die while also having a worse die on there, that the Ryzen 9000 series is where they're sending the scrap material from their TSMC wafers when the real focus is the EPYC CPUs...
I also have an Elgato 4K60 Pro capture card in the other PCIe slot on this ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming motherboard.. Is it possible that the board is throwing some fits because it's not actually expecting people to use more than one PCIe card? My old Crosshair X570 Formula board did that with early...
G-Sync turned off. Also tried with it turned on, same result. No DSC.
Asus TUF GAMING VG279QM - 1920x1080 280Hz
Asus TUF GAMING VG28UQL1A - 3840x2160 144Hz
Both displays are G-Sync Compatible.
I just moved an RTX 3090 FE GPU from an X570/Ryzen 5950X system to a newly built X670E/Ryzen 7950X3D system. It worked fine in the prior system. In the new one, however, it seems to refuse to output to more than one display at a time, and when I connect both, neither one seems to work. I remoted...
Yup this is why I chose the ROG X670E Extreme board, one of the few with three PCIe slots, I'm using a Marian Dante sound card and a Pro Tools HD Native card, plus I'm probably getting a Sonnet Thunderbolt 3 PCIe chassis to put those two cards in so I can free the slots up for other things and...
