    BC2 max out with 6950 @ 1920x1200?

Well, I read different. x4 x4 is bottleneck for two 5850CF, so it would be for 2 6850CF.

Jodiuh: Very interesting data you provided. Its strange becouse in reviews of 6870 on BC2 6870 beats GTX 460. Maybe its driver issue? Could you try the same meassure with older drivers?

    BC2 max out with 6950 @ 1920x1200?

Or, he could CFX two 6850OC. But yes, it has other disadvatages. But performance-wise can beat GTX 580. But you need CFX enabled MB, with at least x8 x8 PCI-E lines.

    BC2 max out with 6950 @ 1920x1200?

Well, I actually never noticed that. I mean, I have been running on the battlefield with windowed game, CPU usage opened, nd never noticed any near 100% load.

    BC2 max out with 6950 @ 1920x1200?

Just be prepared for some serious dips. In heavy MP action you can get easily below 30 FPS even if your avg is 60 FPS. Maybe its driver issue, maybe game issue. But its true.

OK, I am back with some hard data.... So, this time I took it more seriously. All testing involves 1680x1050 resolution, All HIGH, HSAO on, Bloom off; 4xAA, 16xAF.... CPU stock: Core i5 760 at 2.8GHz TURBO BOOST OFF !!!! CPU OC: Core i5 760 at 4.24GHz TURBO BOOST OFF !!!! GPU stock...

    BFBC2: considering upgrading

Well, I used long times benchmarking becouse I was curious more in min FPS than average. And you never know when you get yourself into serious action. So, GPU is Gigabyte HD 6850OC, flashed with 6870 BIOS (slightly bigger voltage 1.175V and higher CCC OC limit) clocked at 900/1200MHz. What I...

If someone interested in 6850: CPU: Core i5 760 - 4.24GHz GPU: HD 6850 (900MHz,1200MHz) Map: Laguna Presa Time in game: about 45 minutes, same map. FPS: 27min, 116max, 64avg

Jodiuh, eve though of some sort of medical help for you? quad at 4 GHz is more than enough at first place. When I got my 8800GT and C2D!! I got GPU limited at 3.2 GHz OC. I seriously doubt everyone thats says his framerate doubled with quad, only if their previous frequency was 2.4 GHz and...

    BFBC2: considering upgrading

Well, about CPU, quad on 4 GHz should really be enough. More than enough. My Core i5 760, OC at 4.2 GHz has three cores at about 50% and last maxed out. Only way I was able to max CPU load was default 2.8 GHz frequency. With no Turbo Boost. Since you are running quad at 4 GHz, I think you sould...

    BFBC2: considering upgrading

Hi, today I noticed strange thing. When doing simple survey wheather OC my GPU GDDR5 from 1100 to 1200 helps (well, and it does, by 1 FPS gain on 70 FPS :) ) I noticed this: I was playing about ten minutes on Oasis. Anyway, besides Gigabyte has really cool 6850, with 63 celsius in 35% fan...

    BFBC2: considering upgrading

Well, its not low score, but just lower about ten FPS. I have HD6850 with CCC 10.12 I actually don´t think its CPU related becouse I have high OCed Core i5 760 on 4.2GHz, is plenty of performance.

    BFBC2: considering upgrading

Well Finally today I managed to play some serious time. And I noticed few not-so-good things. First, there is stuttering in this game. Sometimes, about 5 minutes intervals. I have abou 70 FPS, than lag, and again 70 FPS. And this is not normal lag, I have never experienced this before on my...

    BFBC2: considering upgrading

Hi, well I finally managed to do some testing, so here are my results. First, CPU: Intel Core i5 760, basic frequency 2.8GHz. For all testing Turbo Boost is disabled of course. GPU is AMD Radeon HD6850 little OC. Core at 875 (max CCC limit, programs like afterburner doesent by themselves...
