Eh? One of my favorite moments from last night was being attacked by a tank on the first map of No Mercy. We had just exited the starting building, moved into the alleyway, then we heard the music. Tier 1 weapons, no molotovs, hunters flying across our screen. It was intense :) Managed to kill...
One, Bethesda needs to employ talented writers. The dialogue was excruciating to read at times.
Two, gameplay is far from challenging, even on Very Hard. I attribute this to a "let's not punish the player, but hold his hand everywhere he goes" mentality.
Three, it's nigh impossible to shake...
It's true. I'm not sure what happened to the matchmaking system they had promised. Selfless acts would award you points, TKing, friendly fire and general sucking would subtract them. Did they ultimately decide that was too mean for Steam players?
For now, I get by locally hosting and inviting...
I'll agree, melee should have been controlled by a stamina bar. However, Jin, I have two questions. Have you played all four campaigns on expert with friends? Second, do you have/make many friends on steam? I find that Versus has almost infinite replayability as long as I have 7 friends online...
lol. You guys need to always be amiable and maintain contact with any halfway decent teammates you come across. I usually do play with a circle of friends, but since L4D was released I've met five or six guys that I invite to Versus games whenever my other friends are unavailable.
Give this game 6 months of modding care and it will be worthy of $50. Also make a point of replacing the music. It's Oblivion when exploring, Crysis when fighting (same composer, and he got complacent).
