    I typically use it for games and browsing the internet. 27" is too big for my desk and way too expensive. Are all high refresh rate monitors limited to tn panels? I'm used to having the good color and viewing angles of a ips panel would these be a huge step back?

    It's happened with at least 3 or 4 driver versions. I haven't checked with every single one since windows 8 release.

    I don't connect to my tv and receiver too often but I noticed that I can only output stereo now when I used to be able to output 5.1. I used to be able to get 5.1 when I had Windows 7 but it doesn't seem to work on Windows 8. Anybody else experience this? Got any ideas? I have a Onkyo 605...
