or you could buy a new piece of aluminum, cut it to size put two holes in it, at the same places as the screws (make sure the holes are a bit small so the screws will bite in). just saw the screws down and either put some glue on the other side of them or find some nuts that are the same size...

what would you do with the g series ones? the covers have sides on them that screw into the bays. would you cut these off flush with the metal and stick that on the drive or what. cause i tryed unscrewing the clear plastic on mine and there is a white piece of paper under it and the screws...
