Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Just to follow-up, disabling Wireless Zero on the server's machine allowed us to play with no more connection issues, though we had some other random problems during the night unrelated to the wireless setup since I'm not really well versed in networking. In fact, I think the PCs/Macs we had on...
I'ev been rocking a Samsung 204T and this sounds like a hot upgrade if it wasn't over $1K.
Actaully, I would upgrade to anything PVA or IPS with TN refresh rates.
Googling around it looks like WZC is a Windows thing, which could eliminate that as being a potential problem since the Mac was doing the same thing.. unless of course OS X does something similar, which I would guess it does. Does anybody know what it's called on the Mac? Or, should I just worry...
I'm not discounting the possibility that there may be issues with eight or ten computers running off a wireless router like that but having problems with TWO leads me to believe it's not simply a speed/packet/etc. issue. Revenicus' suggestion makes A LOT of sense considering the interruptions...
I'm throwing a LAN Party this weekend and this came up because I've now got a wireless router and a lot of my friends have laptops and we figured it would be pretty easy to run some gaming with that, so much easier than running wires and hubs all over the place. Well, it WAS easy to setup.. but...
From my understanding, the Vyper Drive is supposed to eliminate lag due to the upscaling process. If you're only going to use it for the PC and Xbox 360 at 1080p, you shouldn't have to worry about anything. It's when you throw a 720p, 480p or 480i signal at it that it's supposed to work that...
I bought a Radeon 1600 Pro 512MB card for $200 at Fry's. I checked online and it seems that for that price I could have done a lot better. So I'm trying to decide between these, if anyone could offer a little opinion, I'd appreciate it.
XFX 6800XT 512MB for $159.99 online.
3D Fuzion 7600GT...
I'm in love with my Samsung 204T, it was the best I could find for 4:3 at a good price to size ratio and avoiding TN panels. For the price ($300-$400) it's a steal. I can't vouch for heavy 3D gaming on it.. the specifications list 16ms but I guess that before they starting listing the...
I just got a Samsung 204T after returning the crappy 204B. It's an awesome monitor.. I'm just kind of screwed now if I want to play any 3D games as I'll need to get a monster video card. The 214T is the same monitor just about an inch bigger.. it's also about an extra $200 for that inch.. so...
