1_rick precise hardware configuration is in Dasharo documentatin. We starting to get community testing results and we will extend documentation by modules proved to work. For example on QubesOS forum someone was unable to install Qubes OS with vendor BIOS, but succeed with Dasharo.
It really depends on how big difference is between PCB designs of given mobo. PCB design typically rely on some silicon vendor reference design (for Intel it would be Customer Reference Board or Reference Validation Platform) on which reference firmware (aka BIOS/UEFI) is tested.

Agree. We tried to reach MSI, but they said they doing BIOS themselve and they are not intrested in other products. Of course it is not full story nobody doing BIOS without help of silicon vendor and in most cases independent bios vendors.
