You might as well order it from canada. The tax in CA kills the deal for Newegg. With the zero dead pixel coverage and insurance on the package its still cheaper than Newegg. Actually depends on what Newegg is selling it for. at 799 its cheaper in canada and at 769 its almost the same.
Do you think the WZ will lower the price of the normal W Model? It's cheaper for me to buy the FP241W from NCIX with the zero pixel coverage and express RMA insurance cover for less than what I pay at newegg. Tax kills it for me at Newegg, but how is Newegg on dead pixels?
Would the WZ with BFI have any effect on console gaming? Where would I see the benefit aside from FPS games on the computer? I'm not a big FPS player, but will play some on the PC. I also plan on hooking up my PS3 through hdmi and WII through component. Would it be worth it for me to wait on the...
1:1 just displays the source at its native resolution right? When you set it to aspect and it's stretched to fill the screen is there black bars on all sides?
Looks great. Thanks for the pictures. I guess the problem with DVDs can be over looked considering we can play those on the computer. I was wondering if you could test the component inputs as well to see if they have any problems. I'm planning to hook up a WII and PS3 so I just wanna make sure...
Hmm I live pretty close to Irvine and I'll probably get the monitor within a day from Newegg. Has anyone gotten dead pixels on theirs? I don't want to shell out 800 + tax and have like 2 dead pixels in the center or something. Anyone know if you can exchange it from Newegg? I wonder when the WZ...
I think it can only accept a 1080p signal. The monitor probably only capable of displaying a 1080p source but not at 1080p.
1680 x 1050 is not 1080p
1920 x 1080 is 1080p
1920 x 1200 can display 1080p, either stretched slightly or has black bars.
The logitech is just an adapter for their speakers. However, you'll only be able to get dolby surround if your speakers support since it only has inputs for the left and right stereo rca cables. Theres also a 2.1 version of the adapter which isn't listed on their website anymore. Theres an image...
You either need a receiver or something like the Creative DDTS-100. Well you can also get Logitech adapters but then you would have to unplug and replug in your cables whenever you switch from PC to console.
