See I think this is where you use a ram divider. But then you have to set the Uncore in relation to that right? In our motherboard, I think the ram divider is the setting under memory that says 2:12 1600 Mhz or 2:10 1033 MHz, but then you'd have to set the Uncore to 24x or 20x right?
Ok after some searching I saw that people were talking about dividing the ram. Maybe because my ram's Mhz speed gets raised too much and that's why it won't post. Also I noticed the CPU PLL Volts were set at 1.88, should I bother doing that? I'm still trying to isolate what the problem is...
Well I got up to 4Ghz on 1.25 and sucessfully played Crysis and Aion, but I'm having trouble passing that 4Ghz mark even though my voltages are even higher than before. Maybe I did just hit my wall... Should I mess with the Uncore frequency?
On my old pc, I overclocked my Core 2 Duo to 3.0 Ghz (60% overclock). However, I'm still learning the ropes for the i7. So far I set the Vcore to 1.32v, the Multiplier is set to x20, the Bclk to 200, and Intel Turboboost is disabled. This gives me a Core speed of 3990MHz and 3591MHz in QPI speed...
That Feser is pretty beast right? This one? or the Thermal Chill? The reason I ask is because the Feser 480er has 4 fans and the Thermal Chill 120.3 has 3, so that 1.4c difference in the temp is due to that extra fan right?
I'm planning on purchasing an EVGA 260 GTX and watercool it with this DD-Tieton waterblock. I read from that link that the 55nm GTX260 cards aren't compatible, is my EVGA 260 card incompatible? Also can I do this with my waterblock? Switch the fittings around?
I don't mean to thread-jack, but if I have 3 fans that spins at 800 RPM with RPM 33.5 CFM Air Flow on a Triple Radiator in a push config, should I get the XSPC RX360, the Thermochill PA120.3, or my original choice, the DD Black Ice GTX Xtreme 360?
Oh so I attach that to the Hk, and then attach a compression fitting on the other end? Could I attach this?
