Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Just a suggestion, but I think the database would be more useful if it stated whether the RAM was just regular-purchased stuff or cherry picked by the manufactuer.
e.g. that Xtreem Cronus score of 297 @ 3-3-3-1 is just in complete defiance of virtually every other score out there and would...
What about the Thermalright V1-Ultra? As I understand it, that's the best cooler out there (correct me if I'm wrong) - surely the stock cooler won't beat that?
I was considering getting one, but wasn't sure how much more of an OC I'd be able to achieve...and they're not cheap.
FiringSquad have updated their Oblivion benchmarks to get proper Crossfire results - and as an SLI 7900GTX owner, I have to say *ouch*.
The main argument I've heard put forward against the X1900 series is poor Crossfire performance, or that the technology is in its 'infancy' (I don't view the...
I'm using the Ninja and at the moment, the metal clips to hold the fan in place distort quite a lot - i.e. most of it bends out of the grooves in the Ninja designed to hold it in place. Only the ends of the metal clip are really properly wedged into the grooves. Do I need to take it all out...

I hate hyperbolic cack like that. So everyone with a DX8 card couldn't play Half-Life 2? Or even people with DX7 cards for that matter.
Sadly, Vista's delay just means that we'll...
Even when the FX-60 comes below $1000, why pay such a premium?
My Opty 165 is running at 2.7ghz already, and it's a fraction of the price. I'd get an Opty 170/175 instead and I don't see it as being any less 'ultimate', unless that word's just a euphemism for expensive :)
Slammin - are you sure you're not misreading 165 as 265..?
The G.Skills are rated for 250 - and mine hit that fine (at 3-4-4-8, haven't fiddled with timings at 250 but I can hit 245 with 3-3-4-5); if yours don't reach that then RMA 'em and try a different pair. They should certainly be going...
Ideally, I'm waiting for a mass of opinions on the Xtreem stuff. The isolated 'proper' reviews where the company supplies the RAM mean absolutely nothing - there's cherry-picking and then there's cherry-picking... and it's being done to the point of ludicrousness. Unfortunately, it takes time...
Hey TankGuy (Ben?) - have many people had problems with the Infineons? Or is it mainly with the Micron-based RAM?
I also noticed you mentioned something on your forums about whether or not continuing to stock Team Xtreem stuff (if I read that right) - presumably you're sticking with them for...
Good grief, looking at the TankGuys forum, there's no chance I'm getting Team Xtreem Microns - looks like people are having very little success with them in general! Not sure about the Infineons right now..
If I want to run at 245 (5/6 divider of 300), would the Infineon be the way to go then?
I notice in the review you guys refer to, he's got his Micron running at 250/2.5-3-2-0, but if it's handpicked then it's hard to read much into it...
Ah, so am I right in thinking that it's a compromise either way?
i.e. the Infineon can't hit 300 (so I won't be able to run 1:1)
but
the Micron, at lower FSB, will have slightly worse latencies than the Infineon would?
