Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Turn your brightness & contrast to 100%. In FireFox open up two tabs. On one tab open up http://www.macworld.co.uk/business/news/index.cfm?newsid=17420. On the other tab open up http://www.cnn.com/. Look at the gradient on the left hand side of the Macworld tab. Switch back and forth between...
The site in question I visited for the Banding video I captured was http://www.macworld.co.uk/business/news/index.cfm?newsid=17420. You should see some serious banding if you switch back and forth between that webpage and another one.
Look at the Window Sills. There is bad ghosting. I will upload the video of what it is susposed to look like so you can see the difference. It'll be up in about 15 mins. It also only shows 1/3 of the monitor because it's that 1/3 that has a gradient that displays banding. The other 2/3's is just...
Having recently purchased the Gateway FPD2485W I am promptly returning it today. The banding is horrible. It cannot display a smooth gradient and tries to color correct it which causes a "Color Correction Flicker". What I cannot live with is the horrible ghosting while playing FPS games. I...
I ordered about $70 worth of items from Frozencpu.com. Some PC-ICE. Some tubing, and clamps. Some other misc. items.
I selected two day shipping, and placed the order around 5:00 CST on there website. To my excitement, I recieved an email that night telling me that the order was packed, and...
I just purchased a thermaltake armor case, and am wondering how others have mounted a radiator in the front of the case.
I dont want to put a dual / single radiator behind the case, but want it all contained within the case. I've seen some screenshots where people have the radiator in the...

I throught as soon as I looked at my PC, it would have puddles of moisture everywhere, and would need to be cleaned / dry'ed pretty well.
Too much suprise, there was no moisture / condensation anywhere inside the PC's. The water...

No anti-freeze.
Just distilled water with additives (water wetter, anti-microbial).
It thawed out in about 3 minutes of me bringing it into the house, so it wasnt "rock solid" frozen, but frozen well egnough. There were no leaks after the hoses thawed.
I will take the advice about...
Thank gawd!
I've had water on my motherboard and components before (Been doing WC a long time). So i'm not to worried about that. It was just the HD's mainly I was worried about.
Thanks for the tip.
I'm an idiot. I'm officially a big f'in idiot.
I accidently forgot my computer in my car overnight. The problem is in Wisconsin, it's almost -2 degrees outside. Needless to say, when I woke up this morning, I realized my PC was outside. I ran to my car, and brought it inside the house.
