You do know, that 4K displays have...4x the pixels? So why would it be suprising that the dead pixel threshold increased as well? -

I am using the Dell MSA14 with the Dell U3415W, which is also a 34" 21:9. The dell arm is also does not mention support for screen over 28". Just check whether or not the weight of the monitor without stand is supported by your monitor arm and you are good. -

So after a month of searching, i finally got one in my hands and i can tell that, my A01 looks exactly like what you can see in your pictures. I think i will live with it, and in case they produce an A02 which improves in this field i will sell and rebuy, because it's actually a very nice screen... -

Okay, so I can tell you, that DK2 is not very comfortable for long periods of time. Will improve with future devices. -
