Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Keep in mind that your LCD2470WNX has nearly a million more pixels than your LCD1970GX and way way way more than a DVD can deliver. If you watch at fullscreen, you are going to see all the flaws of the DVD resolution, the MPEG-2 compression, and DIVX recompression.
Does anyone even know when exactly the HC version of the 2407WFP is coming out and at what price point? I know the documentation is on their site, but I can't find a release date anywhere. I chatted with their customer service and, of course, they didn't know anything. Just said to keep...
Thanks for the info. Keep it coming when you get a chance. I ordered one, but it's on back-order; I can still cancel if need be, but your preliminary indications are pretty good.
Hey Trav, I'm curious. Since it isn't considered a retail product, are there any facets that might make it not as suitable for a home user (aside from it only having VGA and DVI inputs)? For example, input lag that might be perfectly fine in a business setting could be unacceptable for gaming...
Samsung's press release (http://www.samsung.com/common/microsite/exhibition/ices2007/presskit/ices2007_it03.html)
notes that the suggested retail is $799, so yeah, that sounds like 700ish.
At under $600, that looks like that is the TN panel referred to as the 245B earlier in the thread. The fact that no etailers have the 245T on their site makes it seem like it won't be out for a while even though their press contact still says late April. Then they go announce the 24" LED...
Here is where I found the inventory for NCIX so hopefully yours will be shipped soon. http://www.ncix.com/checkinventory.php?sku=23428
I'm still wavering on whether I'm going to buy one. I am going to get a 24" soon for sure. I considered the Dell and the Benq, but decided to wait for the...
Too bad for me, then; I was hoping to get a look at it before I decide to buy. I'll need to try to find a dealer with a liberal return policy. ...Or wait 2 months for someone to do a Dell/Benq/Samsung/NEC comparison. ;)
Well, I hope you get them soon and can give us some impressions, pics, etc. It seems like the online stores are expecting them any day now. Dell has them on their site, but it says it ships in 1-2 weeks whereas all the in stock stuff ships in 24 hours.
The Samsung is expected at the end of...
I have it. I think the picture on it is good (it is factory calibrated so it is good out of the box), but I have had some issues. The sound is often out of sync with the picture. There is an adjustment for this in the menu, but it is annoying to have to do and doesn't always fix it exactly...
There is already a thread about this here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1170172
I, personally, am looking at this and the Samsung 245T which is supposedly coming out around the same time.
180 degrees (or 90 degrees from center) is the maximum you can go. If the camera had shown an angle beyond 180 degrees, he would have been showing the back side of the monitor.
I don't know what you mean. Despite the link, the panel in the video clearly says 245B. It also looks worse than...
