75" LG LED TV - 75UJ675V as PC monitor - how to setup (clear fonts and good FPS)

I decided to write short how-to so that others don't waste time like me making this LG TV PC friendly. I don't use any windows scaling and the FPS should be as on my desktop monitor (Philips 40"). According rtings.com 75UJ675V is 2017 LCD RGBW model, this one manufactured in 2018. According...

    HP SAS Expander Owner's Thread

I found this procedure very valuable, following the same steps (just have to download new linux firmware for my newer expander) I was able to flash most recent HP 12GB/s expander very easily and all worked like charm. Whoever wrote that article knew what he was doing.

Fans for IBM M1015 and HP SAS Expander

    1) I have put 3 IBM HBAs at the bottom of the mobo; I was lucky that my case has 3 grids on side panel; two above PCIe cards can have fans, while big grid over 6 HDs has 2 fans on opposite side panel - anyhow - I managed to create some air stream to cool all a bit.... not perfect though.... 2)...

I did it very very carefully - push them in the opposite direction first so you don't damage board while you squeeze them a bit (not too much so you can expand them later). Use tiny forge or mobile phone repair tools .... why do you want to remove sink; original paste is very good. Btw, I...

    HP SAS Expander Owner's Thread

I bought new HP 12GB expander. It was impossible to find out which chipset was inside, so once I got it I opened it and realized it's same manufacturer as on the older expander, just newer chipset from MicroSemi PM8044.

LSI 9240 vs Highpoing 2720 vs LSI 9260

Sorry for answering on the old thread - for the sake of sharing and those who google, and since both controllers are still on the market; here is my experience with both 9240 and 9260. - I would go with any LSI based controller due to support, firmware updates, simple cross flashing from/to...
