can someone help me understand why a private corporation like LG will do something like this - monitoring people's behavior at home? i though the goal of a company is to make profit. so unless they can monetize this data i don't understand why they are collecting it.
Consolidation in the industry is probably a good thing in the long run for consumers. I'd rather have 5 financially strong companies that I know that will be there for the foreseeable future than 10 weak companies that could go belly up the next quarter.
all these electric car like the chevy volts, nissan leaf and especially Telsa are still way too expensive for mass market. i would give it another decade and let the manufacture achieve economy of scale then pull the trigger.

So I bought the Antec TP-750 from Newegg.ca on January 17,2011 for $159.99. Funny thing is I just checked again today, now the PSU is on sale for $119.99. Ouch, that's a $40.00 difference in less than 2 weeks.
