    Zooming 1080p to 1200p

Decided not too. Yeah, I do think it would look pretty fugly also. 1843x1152 works pretty well 1805x1128 is just enough to keep the image crisp and from around 90% usage @ 1920x1200, it drops it to around 84-85%.

    Zooming 1080p to 1200p

Turning HBAO off or back to SSAO would probably do the same thing, yep. Yeah, I am trying to keep max settings.

    Zooming 1080p to 1200p

It does if your using a frame limiter or vsync. Instead of say 60% usage to hit 62FPS it's taking 57%. It's not much but it's resulting in an overall 1.5 - 2c temperature decrease.

    Zooming 1080p to 1200p

    Phh, never thought about creating a custom resolution. I basically just wanted 5% less usage to keep my SLI'ed 470's a bit cooler as the weather got hotter. 1920x1200 -6% = 1805x1128 -5% = 1824x1140 -4% = 1843x1152 -3.85% = 1846x1154 - 1080p equivalent -3% = 1862x1164 -2% = 1881x1176 -1% =...

    Zooming 1080p to 1200p

Not sure, I will check that out. I've got a Samsung 24". Just wanting to do it for BF3 as summer is coming. It cuts my GPU usage by about 3-5% with a frame limiter.

    Zooming 1080p to 1200p

Hey, I'm looking for a way to zoom a 1080p (16:9) frame into 1200p (16:10). I've messed around with scaling in the nVCP and I they either create black bars at the top or stretch the image. I'd like to zoom 1080p to the point that the black bars disappear. The second is what I'm trying to...

An Internet based gaming TV show named Game On! and it's LAN party (Shut Up and Play!) have been cancelled due to lack of downloads. Game On! starred Tekzilla's Veronica Belmont and NSFW/Scamschool's Brian Brushwood. The show often featured taped and live segments with developers and have...

Sapphire 7970 Is My Card Bad

Do you have any hardware monitoring software open? If you do close it and close Afterburner/OSD if you have that going and give that a try. Have you tried an old version of flash?

AMD BD Review from Lab 501 legit results

Well, to be fair it would probably perform very close to the 2600K if the games were threaded well and used all 8 cores and if BF3 uses everything that it can, it should perform like a Thuban x7 which won't be terrible but the problem is just that; there aren't many games optimized for large...

    3DMark11 Score

P4720 http://3dmark.com/3dm11/156934 (single) ASUS GTX 470 810/1620/1800 1.037v PII 955@3.7, NB@2200 TX750w The only thing that is a little low is the physics score @ 4500ish with the PII. With the CPU clocked at 3.4 my score is P4500, at 3.6, no it's 4650ish.

    3DMark 2011 is out

The first underwater scene is jaw dropping. It would be hard to separate from a really good prerendered CGI to a realtime rendition at first glance. I got P4595 Phenom 2 955 @ 3.61 GTX470 810c/symmetrical shaders (can't remember)/1850m
