Just a quick question being I own 2x xfx 6950 with the dual bios and just got 2x xfx 6970 is the 6950 switched to a 6970 going to be as good or lack a little?
I have an EVGA x79 FTW that will not boot off of any peripheral. I do not know how to update the bios without being able to use any cd/usb flash/ etc. I am trying to use a brand new i7 3820 socket 2011. Can anyone help on this issue.
Hmmm. Before I would say the card is bad I would uninstall the drivers and catalyst and try reinstalling them to see if maybe that helps and if not II'd probably start pricing new cards.
I have two xfx 6970 2gb video cards and just picked up three Dell p2210 monitors so my question to you fine people is am I going to have any heat issues or micro stutter running 5440x1050 I think the rez is in eyefinity for these monitors?
Another question is should I run them in portrait or...

That is a nice overclock and i commend you because I KNOW it took a lot of time. Have you thought of trying to run 120mm server fans on the h60? I have an h100 personally but a 120mm server fan in front of my NZXT phantom case and when i turn that thing up to like 4500 rpms i can literally watch...
Here is my opinion to you. You are overclocked way too far and one little setting is either off or not right. Something is throwing a wrench in there with your overclocking. Either it be ram related because of the overclocking or over a period of time its the cpu from the overclocking. Turn it...
Just a thought to you is in the past i had two of the xfx 5770 and if you go on ebay or amazon you can pick one up for around $80 and if you have room why not two?
These cards are great for what they are and do an excellent job in gaming. No they are not the best but they are the right size...
Just in my opinion on amd is that it is well worth to buy an AM3+ mobo because no matter you can still have a pretty sick machine even into 2013. The 8-core bulldozer is an overclocking beast which I have used and overclocked with awesomely. Even with that said the phenom II 1100t is also a...
Go with the antec you cant go wrong with the price as well as the reviews. The extra couple of dollars will be well worth it in the longer run even though your computer has had a long run already.
Definitely sounds like a ram issue to me I would try swapping it if it is not too costly for you. Try one dimm at first then add on after that i have run into this before
ok thanks for the input. i also ahve one other question. I have the NZXT phantom case with the msi big bang x power x58 mobo exactly how close can i put my two 6950 with my nvidia 9800gt? all three of these cards are the reference cards and take up two slots am i asking for trouble?
