    I tried that. The SPDIF I/O tab only let you select 48khz and 96khz output sample. Nothing else is there to turn on / off optical output.

    L1970HR - dissapointment?

    I'm not sure what you mean by "blockization". Maybe a picture would help. Does this happen in 3D games? Are you running the LCD in its native resolution at 1280x1024? I have the same LCD and everything is fine here. I think it one of the best 2ms LCD out there.

    I purchased both the VX922 and LG 1970HR. I did a side by side comparison of both monitor. I think the LG one is a brighter and color is a bit more vivid. Maybe I didn't play around with the VX922 enough to adjust the color but at default setting I think LG looks better to me. Both of them...
