    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Check upthread, a few pages ago (the other thread is linked to): someone did a quite extensive comparison between an 'old' LP2475W vs a 'new' LP2475w and found _NO_ differences in latency at all... If you have evidence there is indeed a difference in latency between 'older' and 'newer'...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Can't help you with your problem, but I'm using a DVI-I (computer-side, a somewhat oldish P4-2.4GHz with an NVidia 7600GT card) to HDMI cable (monitor-side) with my LP2475w, and that works perfectly at 1920x1200. Have you tried another cable? Regards, Patrick.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Unfortunately, another HardForum user, who recently bought a 2nd 2475w, did the test, and they do not confirm the lowering of the input lag. Perhaps contribute in his thread if you have further info on this: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1414852 (See posting #76 for the input...

    LCD: 24" IPS - HP LP2475w, Planar PX2611W, NEC LCD2490WUXi-BK

Thanks for that. The conclusion seems obvious: any reports about newer firmware revisions of the 2475w having a lower input lag are bullshit. Would've been nice if it was true though, but it's still a very nice monitor and if I were in the market for a 2nd TFT, it'd certainly be on or near...

    LCD: 24" IPS - HP LP2475w, Planar PX2611W, NEC LCD2490WUXi-BK

JakFrost, Thanks for your efforts in reviewing and comparing the 2475w's. I'm mostly interested if there has indeed been an improvement in the input-lag of the newer-revision 2475w, so if you can test that: yes please! ;) Regards, Patrick.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Try re-downloading the firmware (press the 'Check Update' button in HP Display Assistant): they updated the text on the website that pops up and it says the firmware updater is for the HP LP2480zx only. Of course, looking at the price of the HP LP2480zx, I could understand HP includes an...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

It took a bit of searching, but for those who haven't found it: you can download the HP DA Firmware updater when you check for updates from within HP Display Assistant. I downloaded & installed it, looked up the original USB cable from my HP LP2475w, and hooked 'em up. Only a USB Hub is...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Hi folks. Finally joined this forum. I have an HP LP2475w since yesterday (Saturday the 24th), and based this choice for a large part on this thread. Anyway, with regard to the input lag, I can add the experience of my brother, who I consider to be a more hardcore gamer than myself. He plays...
