Check upthread, a few pages ago (the other thread is linked to): someone did a quite extensive comparison between an 'old' LP2475W vs a 'new' LP2475w and found _NO_ differences in latency at all... If you have evidence there is indeed a difference in latency between 'older' and 'newer'... -

Can't help you with your problem, but I'm using a DVI-I (computer-side, a somewhat oldish P4-2.4GHz with an NVidia 7600GT card) to HDMI cable (monitor-side) with my LP2475w, and that works perfectly at 1920x1200. Have you tried another cable? Regards, Patrick. -

Thanks for that. The conclusion seems obvious: any reports about newer firmware revisions of the 2475w having a lower input lag are bullshit. Would've been nice if it was true though, but it's still a very nice monitor and if I were in the market for a 2nd TFT, it'd certainly be on or near... -

Try re-downloading the firmware (press the 'Check Update' button in HP Display Assistant): they updated the text on the website that pops up and it says the firmware updater is for the HP LP2480zx only. Of course, looking at the price of the HP LP2480zx, I could understand HP includes an... -
