    Page file settings are under System properties -> performance? Do a search and you'll find it. I had the same problem as you have, just a week ago. Windows (Vista, at least) can always detect that a page file may be useful on another drive, even if it's not running Windows off that drive, and...

    Under Vista, you need to give SpeedFan admin privilege in order to read the SMART values.

    I am using the 32-bit version and the hotfix works for me. Did not apply any other fixes. Now there is no more stucking at the "calculating time remaining" stage for 10 seconds (or more). Emptying the recycle bin is almost instant now (it takes a minute before, as if painfully moving files...

    WMP11 Lag spike when opened

    It may be caused by scanning your music folders at every startup. I tried to set "ignore" to all the music folders BUT you can't ignore the RIP FOLDER. I still haven't figured out how to get rid of the lag yet.

Whenever I click on it it would say the drive needs formatting, and I'm afraid that one day when I'm just out of bed without a clear mind I'd just format it...
