i found these headphones at a similar price as the senn hd555, and i was wondering which one to buy. but first i would like to hear some reviews about this pair. i didn't even found it on their site, it's an old model?

can others confirm this? because i'm in the stage to choose between hd485 and hd 555 what should i take? which are better? argh...i want them mostly for hip hop and movies

i have an ordinary integrated sound card...but i might buy a new one soon

yeah...i checked that review too..and i was very impressed by the 280's but a lot of people had also bad reviews about them...about poor bass...etc these hd485 are the ONLY ones i found without a major CONS....they are light!!! 7.7 oz...comfortable!!! and i will need that cuz i'm gonna wear...

so...i wanna buy some <100$ headphones and after many researches i think i will decide between 1. sennheiser hd485 2. grado rs60/rs80 3. audio technica m30 i'm almost down with the senn's, all reviews i read doesn't show any real problems with those headphones. the grado's/ms-1...

yeah, this is my first real quality headphone and i also think any will impress me, but i still want to buy the best one's :D. so until now i have: sennheiser hd485 - ALL reviews i read about them are very very good + they also give you that support that will be very usefull to me grado...

thanks for the info guys. i also posted on head-fi, i knew from that site...i think some of u r right...i'll get broke after reading what's in there :)) btw...they HIGHLY recommended me the alessandro ms-1 (which are the same with grad sr60), but they also said it's better to test them first...
