Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
A salesman from one of smaller system builders told me a new Tesla card is coming out: K40. He said the card will have the same number of cores as K20, but double the memory (12GB), and higher clock rate. He also mentioned something called "GPU Boost" technology, but didn't give any details.
Also, can mixing PCIE 3.0 and 2.0 cards on the same board cause issues? I really don't want K600 to bring Titans down to 2.0 level.
Would this 3.0/2.0 mixing behavior be different on a board without PLX chip (non-E board)?
Thanks. I saw the benchmarks, and they are convincing! :-)
A related question - would Quadro K600 card plugged in PCIE 2.0 x4 slot be able to drive two 2560x1440 monitors?
Asus P9X79-E WS board claims to support 4 full speed (x16) PCIE cards (x16/x16/x16/x16 configuration). I think this is misleading.
4x16 slots require 64 PCIE lanes, however any single CPU only supports 40 lanes (which means at best x16/x16/x8 configurations). See the diagram here:

@greybaby Interesting. People who tried 120Hz monitor noticed significantly smoother movements. I haven't tried it, so I don't know.
BTW, of course refresh rate does not mean much if the video card does not output 120fps, that's why I was asking if intel's hd4600 is up to the task. It seems...
