Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If you have Acronis True Image, the bootable CD has a great Drive Cleanser utility with most multi-pass algorithms, or you can zero them out if you wish as well.
Stackable 10% coupon + the 20% coupon for signing up for SB gets this down to $431.28. Lowest I've seen so I guess my mind is made up.
$1J56T82R58HBS (10%)
The difference should only be $240 if you're using a 20% off coupon. I'm still debating the two, but ultimately I believe I'll go with the U2410 since I've been using a 2405FPW for years now and I don't think I'd enjoy going back to 16:9.
Maybe my standards are lower than yours but my existing 2405FPW has been great for over 4 years now. There's absolutely zero chance I'd use a TN over it.
My decision is still ongoing though. I'm so used to 1920x1200 that I think the U2410 is the best bet. If I like it enough, I'll use it in...
I definitely feel limited by a single 1920x1200. I mostly do film production work (editing, better screen is a plus), some gaming, but I have a 4870 so nothing super high-end. I also play 4 tables of online poker and would like the option of having internet browsers, tracking software...
Having the option of buying two of these, with a newer (potentially better) screen and a full warranty or buying a second used 2405FPW, which would would choose?
I'd be willing to "downgrade" to dual 16:9 but only if the e-IPS screen is noticeably better than the 5 year-old PVA.
