Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I read it. I don't think you read what I said. I said: better in relation to the 11 year old monitor, but with same resolution - which I want to maintain that resolution because I am limited to a single external screens. But no answers provided an explicit or detailed comparison of these...
I did clarify:
"....Otherwise, my solution would have been a lot simple: I'd just get two 27 inchers. So basically what I'm after is the best 2560x1600 in the biggest size that is reasonable and proportional...."
In any case, you can put the handbags way - I'm just going to hang on the the ACD...
No, I am not the OP, thus I stated that. But more important, I stated that my laptop maxes out at 2560x1600 externally and I want to max it, since I cant push 2 external screens. So 4K recommendations are not exactly "help" even if they are great screens - because I cant use them.
I'm not...
Looks great, but as stated I'm working with a Macbook air 2013 and I think a single 2560x1600 screen is the max pixels I can push externally with it. Its the laptop I've been issued at work and so that's what I've got to work with. They have the 13" MPB as well, but I hate the way the edge of...
Just to revive this thread, if Apple isn't going to replace the Cinema HD 30", then what's the current best choice at that size and resolution?
I have the original version, which has 400:1 contrast ratio. Am thinking it shouldn't be difficult to find a new model that gives better than that...
Yes, that's been my experience as well. Also I can't get the power LED top function properly.
Case has done the job otherwise. In fact I think the cPU cooler fan is noisier/more vibration than the case fans.
Just finished building an HTPC/home server with this case, using Asus P8Z77-I deluxe/i5-3570K/Scythe Big Shuriken 2/Silver Power 460W Fanless PSU.
There are many useful design features on the case, am very impressed.
The fans are very quiet when on the 5-volt (low setting) Can barely hear...
Here is what I was talking about - the Meshwe Bluefin. Simple device but effective. Can get it here ( http://meshwe.com/ )and they also sell via Amazon.
Problem with many of the options is that the touchpads on them suck: either too small in size for comfortably controlling a mouse on a huge screen or the sensitivity is low. I've tried the Logitech K400, plus their Google TV keyboard. All have some variant of annoying major flaws.
If you can do...
There is no dichotomy between a "PC" and a "smartphone" or "tablet".
It just happens that we're in a transition phase where the minaturization isnt quite done yet and so a "smartphone" or "tablet" is at the moment a crippled personal computer with a WAN chip built in. And some companies are...
I received the Sx2262 today. Its pretty good in a lot of ways: very sharp text, scrolls text crisply and very good viewing angles. The mount is excellent. Very easy on the eyes, in that part seems a little better than the Dell 2408WFP I have at work and certainly much better than my Sony Z...
Budget is open, since I'm willing to pay for quality at least in the terms I have defined the spec above. I don't game so as long as it can play video nicely I'm happy.
But if the spec can be well filled without buying the most expensive item that's even better.
As I look at things, I...
