    Last time I replaced my stock CPU cooler, it didn't need any friggin' superglue. CPU ripped out without letting me unlock the ZIF lever. Stuck to the bottom of the heat sink, used an exacto knife to remove it.

    I think this answer sums it up the best. On top of the complexity of the device, companies still want to make a profit. They're not a charity, so if you blame them for making money, then you are in the wrong market system.

    All my fan spaces are full in my case (1 120mm intake on front, 1 120mm exhaust on back, 1 92mm intake on side. I'm using a Thermaltake VA3000BWA), so anything that will push more hot air out of the case is welcome.

    It's not a matter of compatibility, it's just that I don't plan on overclocking, nor do I see watercooling as a cost-effective solution for my video card. Besides, I can buy kits much cheaper than $288 that do both GPU and CPU cooling. Hell, this is cheaper than buying all those parts.
