What do you mean by specify the proper timings and voltages in my bios? do i need to do that for my mobo and ram? i just put everything together and installed the drivers without touching bios...

Gabe3, thats whats happening to me. except you're lucky in getting it every few hours- mine is every 15 mins. Have you tried everything on the first page?

fuck.i brought my X2 3800+ for 430 in the beginning of the month. i should have waited another month before buying it, since i waited 2 years for a new comp anyway. damn it. could have halved the price and brought a better one instead. damn.
