    Grand Theft Auto V Multi-GPU Performance Review Part 2 @ [H]

Prettiest well defined settings in my view- resolution agnostic. turn max everything- 8x MSAA and 8x reflections. shadows- softest (not NVidia/AMD) Disable depth of field and motion blur at minimum. I recently moved to the Titan X. I play 1280x720 @ 4.4GB VRAM and 25FPS rain + vegetation...

Graphics API: true HW level capability query- OpenGL & DirectX- AMD & NV

I cannot recall a single recent gaming announcement that has touted DX11.2 as being the standout implementation. Given the frighteningly long list of game engines (past and present), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_game_engines ...I doubt a critical mass could ever be achieved to justify...

Graphics API: true HW level capability query- OpenGL & DirectX- AMD & NV

Thanks evilsofa Very interesting thread link and a fair bit to take in. I need to understanding this tiering business of feature support. Another thing being what is 'more' comprehensive/inclusive on a feature and implementation level. DX11, 11.1 or 11.2? I have been sitting on a Win 8...

4k benchmark request: OC 780 Ti against OC 290X

Never been a console gamer since Win98. I was starting to get worried when all the TVs started getting outed @ UHD but we had only the very expensive $3.5k IGZO monitor to speak of for computing. At least Dell has made the move and has 3 UHD monitors in the market, some for reasonable prices. I...

4k benchmark request: OC 780 Ti against OC 290X

great effort Ryoohki360! looks awesome but you have me stumped! How do you get your 1440p monitor to do 2160p on the game menu?? I am not familiar with the supersampling technique you mentioned:( ...I think it is a NVIDIA feature to oversample the image internally before sending it out to...

4k benchmark request: OC 780 Ti against OC 290X

Thanks DraginDime. That's why I posted on [H]ard|Forum. I have seen that review and it is a great one and so close to what I am looing for. The difference is so tantalisingly close that the choice could be really hard on a 1050+MHz 780 Ti. IMO testing should keep proprietary technology only on...
