    I would advise to make sure you have the latest mobo bios. And possibly reseting of the settings in said bios and undoing any overclocks temporarily. I had similar issues with same brand but different board but same generation this worked for me and I was able to reinstate my CPU overclock later...

    Obvious answer, have you tried a different USB port? I had a similar problem with a different device from which this solution worked. Later had reinstalled windows and original port began working again aswell, weird tho.
