I think you're better off with a FiiOE17. The E7 is ooooooooooooold, and the E17 is much better all around. As for the headphones, you might want to go for closed headphones. The M50s are alright, but they're not very comfortable. So I second the DT770. And maybe check out the Beyerdynamic...
