Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm assuming you're referring to the singleplayer bot, which has improved somewhat. It's still a hog and still bogs down at larger scales. Megamek itself doesn't have too many issues when running multiplayer though, provided you give java extra memory.
Holy shit!
Here's hoping it's not a travesty like MWO or MWT. Or vapor like MW5. I've been wanting a professionally produced tabletop game for decades! God I'm old.

Star Wars: Empire at War - Gold Pack - GONE

Currently sporting a Sabertooth z77 and I love the thermal armor!
It's true you need to wait for an invite.
However, my ancient Amazon account with hundreds of items ordered and only two reviews (both of which were negative) has already received an invite.
Out of morbid curiosity, who actually owns the Mechwarrior IP? I know it's been a clusterfuck over the years. I was under the impression Microsoft had it and had licensed it to IGP.
Few rights holders are cool with letting a licensee hand it off wholesale to a third party.
WHAT!? So soon!?
In all seriousness though, this does pique my interest. Haven't played in almost two years now due to the death crawl pace of development (for non-paid features, anyway).
Does it have a large community? Weapon balance, hit detection, netcode, fixed yet?
I've often wondered why something like this wasn't already a feature in (mostly modern/scifi) games. Seems like we should have plenty of horsepower to drive it.
I have no idea.
I was sailing in the SE corner collecting the uncharted chests/fragments/secrets and a message popped up saying I had found a community event/white whale location that it said was shared with my friends. Nothing was showing in my immediate surroundings or minimap so I pulled...
