Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Try an Abit IP95 with an E4300. There is no current C2D mATX board that is a good OCer, but with an E4300 it is rumored to be possible to OC to E6600 levels now. Plus you can reuse either of your rams in the IP95 ddr2 or ddr400. Then post back how it works cuz I wanna do the same thing but dont...
Ive been watching this board for over a month now hoping some legit sites would review, but havent found anything other than just a few customer reviews on newegg, etc.. I did see where they say that this is actually made by ECS for Abit with basically almost an identical design as the ECS...
Ive been waiting months too.. right now it still seems like a pipe dream that Abit will release anything soon.. I go to their site everyday hoping for something and they wont release any info other than rumours....
Has anyone noticed the E6300 price has risen in the last few days?? I just checked NewEgg and the price is up to 195.00 now. It was like 180-something last week...vierd.
EDIT::: Tiger Direct just listed the E4300 in stock on their site for 179.99 ..Let the madness begin.. I think I'll wait.
Someone on Anandtech forums posted the same and said he was able to reach 320fsb on an E6600 but had to bump up the PCI Express Freq. to 118..no pcie lock makes it kinda iffy..

I know, Im just getting really anxious to finally build this system... this chip gives me the opportunity to do so with a cheaper motherboard and memory while still getting some OC ability.....
Yeah, but it looks like vendors preselling the E4300 are selling it higher than the E6300.... I thought it was supposed to be 163.00 bucks... lowest price I see so far is 199
QFT.. I think a lot of people are missing this point trying to compare the E4300 OC to the E6300 OC results... The point is you can save a lot of money and still have high performance. Best Bang For the Buck.. also, this can help the mATX intel niche for people like me who have been looking for...
Keep hope alive? Then you post that?? Not exactly hope inspiring..Lol. I think someone else mentioned this as well, but were hoping that Abit does their own bios revision to help address this.
I'm actually considering trying a mod Ive seen on here several times now where people have modded...
