    I do have 16GB ram in my cart, I just didn't label it clearly above. Thanks for the 2600 recommendation. From what I've read, Lightroom 3 isn't multithreaded. It can run one task per core, but doesn't benefit from hyperthreading. Sad. I'll contemplate getting a 2600 anyway, in case a future...
