    Seems there is some redundant switching problems.. I'll make a diagram and post back. Cutting one of the switches out seems to put 90% of the network back up and running. Switches are Dell Powerconnect 2816s.

    I found this in reference to use of VLAN1. Was that your concern? It seems like an OK risk to me as nothing else here uses anything but the default Vlan. My only real concern is keeping Vlan2 separate and secure.
