    I had the same problem with my gateway 19" WS LCD. I had the x800pro. I couldn't see the bios with that card or anything else unless it was VGA. No start up text, nothing. I had to plug in another crt monitor to get to see boot up and stuff. It's the monitor and your gpu combined...
