Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

;_; I am crying tears of joy, I was about 2 minutes away from pulling the trigger on 7770 instead of the 670.
As for the processor, it's not a K version please look again. And thanks I'll get that cooler instead and follow the rest of the recommendations.
Yeah, this past weekend our air...
8GB should be enough for any game really, I don't see any game needing more than that, unless you are running multiple instances of one game on one machine like EVE. Maybe streaming would have high ram requirements as well, I don't know. But if all you want to do is play one game at one time...
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming mostly, web browsing, burning CD's, a little productivity work.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1500 - tax and shipping included
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell...
First: As a fellow Tekkaman fan I salute you.
Now, about the game yeah, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm worried because its based off of Cry Engine 3, and my hardware might not be up to snuff to play it at a competitive level. I'm curious also about the monetization, they say they won't...
I don't have any recommendations to give but here's a resource of good reviews. Darin and Shawn give their honest opinions on certain racing games. I tried to get into sim racing but could but here's the website:

They also give bi-weekly, or weekly, racing...
What bugs me more about D3 aside from the art are the mechanics. The introduction of stuff like cooldowns, the TP's being infinite and automatic, and the skill system. It doesn't feel like a Diablo game it feels watered down. I didn't buy retail, I played the beta though.
Original teams should...
That specific card is being pricey for a 6850, for $10-15 more, you could get a 6870. And I think your cpu wouldn't have a problem keeping up with it. I'm not so sure about those specific games, but I think that 6850 is at a bad price point.
Thanks for the idea, but I'm probably going to just build a new tower somewhere down the road. It's an idea though if I can grab them while the 7xxxx series are running around.
Ahh you quoted my post before I edited. The reason I edited was I decided to research info on my own and found out the answer. The CPU is better geared to tasks that are non-repetitive, while GPU's are better at lots of repetitive tasks.
Thanks for the links though. That's cool, I guess they...
So is this why a 6970 has 1536 cores? Every core inside a 6970 is handling a different part of what I see on the screen at once?
Thanks for the info and correction, I'll concentrate on a+ first before delving too deep into this. Like, I have some questions that I know I wouldn't understand the...
