I have the mx510 and the G5, and personally I'd say wait for the next best thing. I've used the mx518 and its not all that dissimilar from the 510, so the upgrade most likely isnt worth it and there will a new mouse or line in a few months, maybe next year.

I personally went with dual 7900s in SLI mode, and I've been able to run Battlefield 2 with the graphics all the way, smooth as silk. However if you don't have they money for 7900s, i would go with a single 7800GTX.
