With a x800 PCI-E, I got 5,248 with the Cat 4.8's, and 5,545 with the Cat 4.9's + hotfix on the system in my sig.

Just have to read the description or look up the specs on the manafacturer's website. Most will state they have the 6-pin PCI-E connector as it's a selling feature.
You want a power supply that is ATX v2.03 compliant. If you go here, you can click on the 'compatible' list and then search for specific types of power supplies. Newegg breaks them apart in a lot of (confusing) categories, so watch carefully.

Ordered my X800 XT PCI-E 3 days ago from AllStarShop, got it yesterday. Haven't gotten too far into using it as I just finished building my new system last night, but I'll definately be giving it a workout tonight. :D
It's going to take another generation or two to see the real benefits offered by PCI-E, and since current PCI-E graphics cards are still based on the same general design and chipsets of existing AGP cards, there's not going to be some dramatic performance jump just because you're using a PCI-E...
