Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
No, not incredibly dusty I suppose. Do I need to put the feet/spacers on the motherboard before resting it on the box?
I did just notice however the R5 cases seem to already be available, ahead of when I thought. It would still take a few days to arrive, but I may just go ahead so things won't...
Small update.
I've been keeping my eyes open for the Asus and MSI Geforce 970 cards. They come back in stock at Newegg for a bit and seem to sell well. I may just go ahead at some point when they're back in stock, but I'm not in a huge rush since I won't have a case until near the end of the...
Ah thanks, my mistake. Still out of stock.

I have seen some pretty high prices on the 970 at other stores that do have it in stock at the moment, but maybe not quite that high.
Asus Geforce 970 is back in stock at Newegg. Price is scary.

I see the MSI 970 is also well-reviewed, here and elsewhere, so I may watch that as an alternative...
I'll consider that. That seems like a good candidate for a small after-build upgrade. I've also looked at some external DAC/AMP and receiver stuff recently that might work too.
Asus Z97-A deal on again at Newegg today. Didn't like the sound of the build quality of that ASRock Fatality board, so...
Unfortunately I'm out of time tonight, but it looks like there are some easy to find reviews for that board and the deal is great.
I'll try to squeeze in some time tomorrow to read about it a bit and report back.
I didn't really call it out before, but since I won't be getting a dedicated...
Some other potentials that are actually in stock. Just in case. I can't find as many clear reviews/opinions on these either though.

How does the Asus Z97-E compare to the Asus Z97-A?
On paper their specs look similar, although the A supports DisplayPort (which may not matter thanks to the GPU), some extra audio stuff and maybe other things. I can't find any particular reviews on the E model.
Newegg has the Z97-E in stock...
Yep, since the motherboard is pretty integral for testing the rest of my parts (while I can afford to wait longer on the GPU and case) it's unfortunate that was sold out.
I don't want to worry just yet, but it does look like availability on both the Asus Z97-A and the Asus Strix Geforce 970 is...
Is $119 for the Asus Z97-A motherboard an especially good deal?
It LOOKS like NCIX doesn't charge tax to my location.
edit: nevermind, looks like it's sold out.
Yep, went ahead with the PSU, RAM, CPU, SSD and cooler.
I went with the Samsung Evo SSD because the RAPID feature sounds like it might be useful. Prices between it and the Crucial MX100 were essentially the same for 256gb.
I will hope for a few more good deals to pop up for GPU and motherboard...
Most definitely.
I agree there isn't enough info out there about the be quiet! brand. I haven't been able to find out much.
These two guys are very tempting due to the discounts, but I have no information really regarding noise.
